What data I process and why

Contact form and diagnosis request

When you write to me through the contact form or the "Ask for your diagnosis" window, I process the data you provide: name, email address, your website address, the service you are interested in and your message. I use it only to answer your enquiry and, where appropriate, prepare a proposal.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Browsing the site

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technical connection data, such as the IP address, the browser and the pages requested, in order to serve the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

Anti-bot check

The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is submitting them. To do so, Cloudflare analyses technical data from the browser and the connection. It is not used for advertising purposes.

Blog search

If you use the blog search, the text you type is sent to Algolia, together with technical connection data, to return the results. If you do not use the search, nothing is sent to Algolia.

Analytics

With your consent, I use Google Analytics to know how many visits the website receives and which pages are viewed. Google Analytics is loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz and only if you accept analytics in the cookie notice; if you do not, no measurement cookie is set.

Advertising

With your consent, I use the Meta pixel to measure the results of my ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people who already visited the website. The pixel is loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz and only if you accept advertising in the cookie notice; if you do not, no data is sent to Meta.

I also use Google Search Console to see how the website appears in Google results. This tool shows me aggregated search statistics and does not collect data from visitors to the site.

Who receives the data

I do not share your data with third parties. To provide the service I work with these providers, which process data on my behalf:

  • Cloudflare: site hosting, security and anti-bot check.
  • Resend: delivery of the form message to my mailbox.
  • Google: the mailbox where I receive messages (Google Workspace), Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland: Meta pixel, only if you accept advertising.
  • Algolia: blog search.

Some of these providers are established in the United States or process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the General Data Protection Regulation, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Data retention

I keep the messages I receive for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, afterwards, for as long as liabilities may arise from the relationship. The sending provider keeps the record of each message for a maximum of 30 days.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected].

If you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
